It’s carnival time in Manali as The Lost Tribe Hostels is all set to bring the fourth edition of Art Festival Mountains between 25th-27th May. At the event, artists from across the globe collaborate to make magnificent artworks.
What is Art Festival Mountains ’18?
It is an event hosted by The Lost Tribe Hostels, a chain of affordable and cosy backpacker hostels in Manali, in collaboration with Platform for Artists, an artist’s collective. The event, which features 50 artists, aims to give a space to create interdisciplinary artwork.
“Expression of our thoughts, dreams and aspirations is best portrayed through art. Our aim to foster a deep connection among traveling artists, backpackers, digital nomads and people through meaningful conversations and community engagement comes alive with this festival in its truest sense,” said Stuti Ashok Gupta, co-founder, The Lost Tribe Hostels.
The art festival is a launching pad for individual creators to showcase their talent and discuss their ideas with other artists. It gives the participants, a freedom to create anything they want in the lap of nature.
“We are delighted to present the Art Festival Mountains’ 18 to our followers and others out there who are exploring an opportunity like this to express themselves better,” said Kshitija Sarda, Co-Founder,Platform For Artists.
The fourth edition of the festival has prominent names such as Entrepreneurs of India, One Himachal, The Optimist Citizen and Himalayan Geographic as its partners.
Writers, painters, skechers, dancers, singers, musicians, actors, illustrators, photographers and others who have interest in experimenting with new forms of art can join the festival to learn, teach, share, connect and create miraculous artwork during the festival days.
The three day Art Festival features a handful of attractions that would you enhance your experience. It houses a wall painting space where you can see how your bare hands could create magic with a few strokes!
There are TLT evenings, where you can sit around the fire and discuss poetry and stories with other members. You can visit the Flea Market that features indie artworks and antique items. Moreover, there are workshops, discussions, art talks and much more!
