Jatin discovered his joy for design and brand creation whilst studying in College. This began his journey to becoming an entrepreneur and starting his own branding company – Logolize

Logolize is a creative brand management company that aims to understand their clients vision and transforms it into reality. They aim to be a One Stop Shop for all Digital & Creative needs of their clients, and with today’s vast array of digital and social platforms, having one company that can look after all avenues is very attractive to their business customers.

So read on to find Jatin’s full startup story…

1) How did you get your idea for this business?

I used to work as a Freelancer and as a Technical Head in my College Fest Technical(Design) Team every year.

The Technical Design Team used to be the very first people who’s work used to start very prior as compared to the other organizing teams because the major task that we were responsible was to create the whole IDENTITY (Look and Feel) and give a FACE to the Fest from just a Name and a Theme so that it can be communicated to the audience just like creating the whole concept about a Brand from its Name and a Tagline.

So, here is when the idea pumps into my mind at the end of 2nd year of my college. We were great at converting an idea from a simple two words to something VISUAL which had larger scope and can be communicated to the audience very easily, whether its related to Design or some Video.

That’s why I thought of the name ” Logolize ” and finally launched the company in the 3rd Year of my college. “Logolize” means creating an Identity for someone. Design is all about your Visual Identity and the kind of Visual Communication you have. The type of design language that you have, helps in differentiating you from others.

As we say, ” Design is not how it looks, it is how it works”. And the stronger concept you have in your Design & Branding, Stronger is your communication to your audience. That’s why we do a long research about your brand before creating your Identity / Logo, etc.

2) Why is “now” a good time for this idea to exist?

We are living in an era of Digitalization and everything becoming online, whether its your Shopping or Travel or some other needs. So when it comes to being online, the kind of Visual Communication you have with your customers from that short 5 inch Mobile Screen, it really matters.

Whether its a Social Media Ad or some Video or your User Interface. It needs to be very attractive and easily communicable to the customer.

That’ why I believe this is the best time for this idea to exist as we are living in this revolution of Digitalization.

3) What was the reaction from your family when you first decided to become an entrepreneur?

They fully supported me even though nobody in my family have Business or Entrepreneurship background because I have AGE with my side. I am comfortable in experimenting on myself and taking risks.

That’s why I find myself Lucky, as I started early. Starting early gives you enough space and time to experience all the hardships of this journey so that you can easily get up after falling down and you have less things to lose if you fail. Like we say “Koi chakar ni, abhi toh bahut time hai “. Same thing applies here!

4) What was your biggest mistake in business and what did you learn from it?

Well, I won’t call it as a “Mistake”. Business is all about frequent ” Learnings ” that you learn from your wrong decisions. So the major learning I had was to be capable enough of doing or handling everything and not being dependent on anyone.

5) What is your biggest obstacle in the next 12 months and how will you overcome it?

I think for a startup the biggest obstacle in the initial stage is ” Consistent Sales “. Sales Fix Everything.

“Sales Fix Everything.”

I am trying to overcome this challenge by establishing strong collaborations and experimenting daily new ideas. So that we always come out with something out of the box.

6) What habits contribute to your success?

My Consistency, My Prompt Reverts, My Seriousness towards my work, My Confidence, My Adapting Capability, My constant Reading about new things and My Availability.

7) If you had the opportunity to start this business again what would you do differently?

I am loving this journey. All the things and challenges that I have faced till now, its all worth it. These challenges make you meet with the Reality of Life.

So, I have never thought of choosing a different path and Re-Creating the whole thing again. Just keep going with the flow and adapt yourself.

8) What is your favourite inspirational quote?

Well, There is a quote which I wrote. Have you ever seen the word ” Start – Up ” carefully?

What do you see between the two words “Start” and “Up” ?

A Hyphen(-) ?

According to me, it’s not a Hyphen(-).

Its a hidden Fill Up.

That means START “ and when you fall, get ” UP.

Start – Up is all about falling down and getting up.

There’s also one more quote that I wrote.

“Your SALE is like your own boat, no one would SAIL it better than you.”

9) Where do you find inspiration?

Any brand that communicates its idea very Simply, Briefly and with a Strong Concept is an inspiration for me.

10) What is your favourite book?

I am very bad at this. I don’t like reading books. I frequently read online articles / Blogs, etc. But books are not my cup of tea.

11) What advice would you give to someone starting out?

I would advise them to be confident and start. The very first thing you need to keep in your mind to start something new is to believe in yourself.

Don’t listen to what other people talk about. If you have an idea and you believe in it, focus on yourself and your idea, hit the door and build something that creates an Impact.
